The MAX30100 is a compact optical sensor module designed for measuring blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂) and heart rate (pulse rate). It combines red/infrared LEDs with a photodetector and signal-processing circuitry in a small module that can be connected to microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and other I²C-compatible development boards.
