Protection Functions
The 80A BMS provides several important protection functions:
1. Overcharge protection
Prevents individual cells from being charged beyond their safe voltage.
2. Over-discharge protection
Disconnects the battery when cell voltage becomes dangerously low.
3. Over-current protection
Protects the battery and BMS when charging or discharge current exceeds the configured limit.
4. Short-circuit protection
Rapidly disconnects the battery during a short circuit condition.
5. Temperature protection
Uses NTC sensors to monitor battery temperature and protect against abnormal temperature conditions.
